Frank Morrisey was appointed to the FDNY in January 1997 and assigned to one of the best houses in the city, Engine 35 Ladder 14 Battalion 12. While at Engine 35, Frank was proud to serve as the union delegate for 10+ years and then in September 2014 he was promoted to Lieutenant. After a short time he was fortunate to be assigned to another one of the great houses, Engine 80 Ladder 23.  Frank was forced to retire due to an unexpected illness in December of 2021. He is the current retiree liaison for the FDNY Emerald Society, a member of the FDNY Holy Name Society, volunteer for the FDNY Family Assistance Unit and active member of the Irish American Society of Nassau, Suffolk, Queens.
