Emily Reid is the Director of Operations and Special Projects for New York State Senator Timothy M. Kennedy. Emily was born and raised in South Buffalo, NY to Mike and Louise Reid. The youngest of four siblings, Emily attended St. Martin of Tours grammar school and Mount Mercy Academy High School. Emily graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in both International Studies and American Studies, where she focused on immigration and refugee policy. Following her undergraduate degree, Emily began her career at the International Institute of Buffalo as an International Exchanges and Education Coordinator, where, among other things, she hosted international delegations through the US Department of State in Buffalo to create lasting professional connections. Within 4 years, Emily hosted visitors from 87 different countries.
