Before the upcoming Irish Open at Doonbeg in County Clare the members of the U.S. Walker Cup team landed at Shannon Airport on their way to the Lahinch course, also in Clare. The players arrived on a United Airlines flight from Newark ahead of this weekend's tournament.

The Walker Cup is an amateur event pitting the USA against Great Britain and Ireland.
