The Dáil has approved a proposal to deploy Irish Army’s elite Ranger Wing to Mali in East Africa, as part of a United Nations mission called Minusma, which has been described as the “most dangerous UN mission in the world.” This file shows Army Ranger Wing members taking part in a demonstration in the Curragh Camp in Kildare in which they carried out an assault on a building in which terrorists were holding a hostage.
