Three charged with McAreavey murder

Three men have been charged in connection with the brutal murder of Michaela McAreavey, daughter of Tyorne football manager Mickey Harte, on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius.

The chief suspect in the murder, identified in reports as Avinash Treebhoowoon, 29, has reportedly confessed to the killing. Treebhoowoon is an employee of the hotel where Michaela was staying on her honeymoon.

A second hotel worker has also been charged with murder, while a third was is facing a conspiracy to murder charge.
