Job Description? As an FDNY Fire Marshal I’m tasked with determining the cause and origin of fires. We are also responsible for determining if the fire is accidental or incendiary. If a fire is deemed incendiary, we are entrusted with holding the guilty party accountable for their crimes.
Why I chose this career? My family has a long-storied history with the FDNY. I am a fourth-generation member of the Department, which includes my Great Grandfather, Grandfather, Uncles, and Cousin.
Proudest moment of my career? Being honored at Medal Day 2024. I have also received five Units Citations, and a Service “A” Award.
Biography: Christopher was appointed to the FDNY in May of 2000. Attended St. John’s University. Previously assigned to E-285, TL–142 and Marine 4. Live in New Hyde Park with his wife Patricia and Twin Daughters Vanessa and Samantha.
