The Irish National Caucus, since I founded it, has maintained a bi-partisan position neither Democratic nor Republican but dedicated to getting both American parties apply a single standard - not a double standard - in their foreign policy on national self-determination, human rights, freedom, and peace in Ireland. Our founding principle and motto state it perfectly: "Ireland, too, has the right to be One Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." We have praised the good work of Presidents Carter, Bill Clinton, and President Biden. And now we are delighted by President Trump’s fulsome declaration on a United Ireland. God bless America and God save Ireland.
