Said a release: "Twenty-five years ago, among the thousands who perished in the attacks on the World Trade Center were nine dedicated members of the New Jersey AOH.
"Determined that their sacrifice and service will never be forgotten, the New Jersey AOH will gather in solemn remembrance alongside members from New York to honor their fallen brothers and sister.
"To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the attacks, the New Jersey AOH will host a memorial Mass and remembrance ceremony at the Monmouth #2 Patrick Torphy Division Hall in Middletown, New Jersey."
New Jersey State AOH President Ryan Greene stated: “On this Day of Remembrance, we will honor our nine brothers from New Jersey, eight brothers and one sister from New York, and Father Mychal Judge, whose courage and faith inspired an entire nation.
"These men and women left for work on a beautiful September morning and found themselves responding to unimaginable evil with extraordinary bravery and selflessness. Some guided coworkers and strangers to safety, while others made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.

"Twenty-five years later, we stand united in ensuring their names, their heroism, and their devotion to family, faith, and community are never forgotten. Their families will always remain part of our Hibernian family.”
Pat Torphy Division President Ryan Quilty added: “It is a tremendous honor for the Patrick Torphy Division to host this important Day of Remembrance.
"We proudly stand with our Hibernian brothers and sisters in paying tribute to the members we lost on September 11th and remembering the extraordinary courage and sacrifice they demonstrated that day. Their legacy of faith, service, and brotherhood continues to inspire our Order and our communities. We will ensure that future generations never forget the lives that were taken and the heroism that emerged from that tragic day.”
Added the release: "The Ancient Order of Hibernians remains committed to preserving the memory of those lost on September 11th and honoring the enduring legacy of service, courage, and brotherhood demonstrated by its members.
