Brehons Backing Frankola-Crawford

The Brehon Law Society is backing "friend and colleague" Jennifer Frankola-Crawford in her bid to be elected as a Civil Court Judge in Manhattan.

Frankola-Crawford, former president of the Brehons with a mother from County Sligo, has received the endorsement of the Manhattan Democratic Party. The election will take place on November 3.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2026 the Brehons will hold a cocktail fundraiser at Rosie O’Grady’s, 148 West 51st Street in Manhattan, from 5 to 7p.m.

"We are asking for your financial support to assist her with the cost in running her campaign," said the Brehons in a release.

"While many of you have already contributed to her campaign, we would invite you to come anyway to show your support and ask that you pass this notice on to your friends and colleagues many of whom know of her good work both in and outside the legal community.

"She has been a champion of many issues including human rights, immigration justice, women’s rights and equality. Through the Brehon Law Society she has championed the cause of Irish reunification.

"Contributions of any size will be accepted.
