Squad named for Prague

Republic of Ireland manager Heimir Hallgrimsson named his squad for the World Cup play-off semi-final against Czechia in Prague on next Thursday, March 26, for the follow-up home game against Denmark or North Macedonia on Tuesday, March 31, which will be a playoff final if the first game is won, but a non-competitive game if lost. QPR’s Harvey Vale, a former Under-19 captain for England, gets his first call-up.
