Knights tee up St Patrick's Season with grand gesture

The Knights of Saint Patrick, renowned for their backing of St Patrick's Day parades across New York, have given a timely boost to the celebrations in Warwick, NY.

The Knights are actively involved in supporting various Irish cultural events and parades, including the highly celebrated New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. They also support the NYC Saint Patrick’s Day Foundation, the Saint Patrick’s Day Mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, the Irish Apostolate of Brooklyn, and numerous other parades such as the Bay Ridge Parade, Brooklyn Parade, Mineola Parade, Northern Westchester Parade, Pearl River Parade, Peekskill Parade, Queens County Parade, Rockville Centre Parade, Staten Island Parade, Yonkers Parade, and Warwick Parade.

On February 19 at an event in the New York Athletic Club, the Knights donated $1,000 to the Warwick Saint Patrick’s Day Parade to help fund its annual Feast Day celebrations.

The Warwick Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will be held Sunday, March 8, 2026, in the Village of Warwick, New York. The parade will commence at 11 am. Therese “Terry” Meyer, a dedicated community advocate and President of the New York State LAOH, will grace the parade as the esteemed Grand Marshal.

The Knights of St. Patrick was formed in September 1988 in New York City and is a member funded 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. Its mission is to provide financial assistance to the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade on an annual basis to support and promote the study of Irish culture and to stimulate its awareness.

Since its inception, the Knights have contributed in excess of $1.8 million to the NYC Parade, along with contributions to such notable organizations as the Irish Arts Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Monsignor Jack Barry Scholarship Fund.
