Irish women founders are inviting Boston and New York Irish communities to connect at trade mission meet and greets linked to St. Brigid's Day.
According to a release, thirteen "high-growth Irish women founders" are visiting the U.S. this week as part of a major St. Brigid’s Day trade mission and are inviting members of the Boston and New York Irish community to meet them, learn more about their companies, and explore opportunities to invest, mentor, or make connections.
The mission, led by AwakenHub and AwakenAngels, is being hosted for the first time by Babson College, widely regarded as the world’s leading institution for entrepreneurial education.
Now in its fourth year, the trade mission is designed to help Irish women-led businesses accelerate U.S. growth, secure investment, and build long-term transatlantic partnerships.
According to the release, to coincide with the visit, AwakenHub and AwakenAngels are hosting informal drop-in meet-and-greets for anyone in the Irish diaspora interested in supporting Irish women founders. Attendees are welcome to stop by to hear more about the mission, meet founders, and find out how they can get involved, whether through angel investing, mentoring, or opening doors in the U.S. market. The events are taking place at: The Dubliner Bar in Boston on Monday, 2 February, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
and in New York at Jamesons Bar, 247 East 50th St, in Manhattan on Wednesday, February 4 from 8 p.m. Also in Manhattan there will be a panel discussion and showcase at the Bank of Ireland Hub, on Thursday, Feb. 5 from from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Hub address is BOI NYC, 2 Grand Central Tower,

Founders on the mission, added the release, are operating across technology, health, diagnostics, consumer brands, and professional services, with some actively raising between €1M and €4M, while others are seeking US-market insight, mentorship, and strategic connections.
