The funeral of Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra, the Carlow woman who was found dead earlier this month on a boat at Montauk Yacht Club, Long Island, is to be held on Wednesday in her home town.
Nolan-O’Slatarra, 33 and the founder of a high end beach fashion and accessories company, died in the early hours of August 5. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A postmortem carried out by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office was inconclusive and investigators are awaiting further test results.
The funeral will be a Requiem Mass in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow, followed by burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
