Pic of Day: Brendan Fay, nuclear disarmament activist with (NYCAN - New York Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons) welcomed Japanese Peace Boat participants in New York to mark 80 years since the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August, 1945. Said Drogheda native Fay: "On this 80th anniversary it is time for New York City be a leader in the global movement to rid our world of nuclear weapons and ensure all city pension funds are divested from nuclear weapons production.
