Pic of Day: A delegation from Ireland addressed the recent United Nations on Ireland's commitment to achieving 80% renewable energy independence by 2030. Darragh O’Brien, Minister for Climate, Environment & Energy, informed the meeting in New York that Ireland's energy is now generated 40% from wind turbines and 10% from solar.
