Knockbride's Magnificent Treble

Momentum continued into the Ulster semi-final on November 2, as Knockbride produced an emphatic performance to overcome Lisnaskea Emmetts (Fermanagh) on a scoreline of 3-15 to 0-1.

On November 16, Knockbride crowned their Ulster campaign in style, defeating Brigid O’Neills in the 2025 AIB Ulster Ladies Intermediate Club Championship Final, winning 3-13 to 1-6 to secure the provincial title.

The Ulster champions then advanced to the All-Ireland series. In a tightly contested All-Ireland semi-final, Knockbride edged past Naomh Abán (Cork) with a narrow 0-4 to 0-3 victory on November 30, so booking their place in the national final.

The dream was completed at Croke Park on SAturday, December 13, when Knockbride delivered a commanding performance in the AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Ladies Club Football Championship Final. They defeated Caltra Cuans (Galway) by 3-10 to 0-4, sealing a historic triumph.

This victory marked Knockbride’s first-ever All-Ireland ladies’ title and saw them become the first Cavan club to win the All-Ireland Ladies Intermediate Club Championship, etching their names into the history books.
