Call for Nominations - Inaugural Irish–American Maritime Excellence Awards
We invite nominations for outstanding Irish Americans and dynamic companies or agencies whose leadership, innovation, and impact are shaping the future of the maritime sector.
These inaugural awards will celebrate excellence across the maritime value chain, recognizing individuals and organizations that demonstrate operational distinction, innovation, safety leadership, and a meaningful contribution to Irish–American maritime ties.

We are particularly keen to receive nominations in the following areas:
Container Management & Terminal Operations
Cruise Ship Operations & Services
Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering
Maritime Security & Safety
Harbor & Port Logistics
Tug Operations & Towage Services
Port Development & Infrastructure
U.S.-Ireland maritime ties.
Irish American maritime writers or maritime artists engaging with seafaring life, ports, ships, coastal communities, and naval history
Who Can Be Nominated
Individuals: Irish Americans or Ireland-connected professionals working in the U.S. or internationally.
Companies & Agencies: Private firms, port authorities, public agencies, or joint ventures with demonstrable Irish–American engagement or leadership.
