The Roosevelt House on East 65th Street was the New York home of President Franklin Roosevelt and his wife Eleanor Roosevelt from 1908 until 1933 when Franklin Roosevelt became president. In 1941, the Roosevelts sold the house to Hunter College for use as a student center. It is now home to the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College.
