Pic of Day: The Maine Irish Heritage Center, headquartered in Portland, has announced that Eric Brown, Ph.D. has accepted the position of Executive Director. Said a release: "Dr. Brown, most previously provost at University of Maine Farmington, brings to our beloved organization tremendous enthusiasm, vision, and understanding of the Maine Irish Heritage Center and its mission -- all of which, we are confident will carry the day (and the years) ahead."
