Children's books launch at NYIC

The New York Irish Center launched its fall season with the Queens Irish Heritage Festival on last Saturday afternoon and continues tomorrow night, Thursday (from 7 to 9 p.m.), with a children’s books event, sponsored by Culture Ireland

Dublin publisher Little Island Books, introduces three authors and their brand new books launch of new  books – Sam Thompson/“The Fox’s Tower”; Patricia Forde/“The Girl who Fell to Earth”  and Deirdre Sullivan/“Savage Her Reply.”  Publisher Matthew Parkinson-Bennett will accompany the three, who will read from and discuss the books.

This will kick off a packed schedule over the next two months before the Christmas season. The Irish Echo will publish online tomorrow a diary of NYIC cultural events for October and November.
