Shannon's Pitch in New York

Pic of Day: Shannon Airport this week sees the launch of a new service to Paris Orly with a new carrier, Vueling. The weekly service to Paris Orly Airport will operate on Mondays and Fridays . Vueling is part of the IAG group that owns Aer Lingus. But Shannon is not only thinking in terms of Europe. Shannon Airport Group CEO Mary Considine is in New York this week as part of a campaign, in conjunction with Tourism Ireland, to promote the County Clare airport as a gateway to Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. Meanwhile, pictured at the launch of the Paris service are (l-r): Olivia O'Sullivan, Cathaoirleach of Limerick City, Minister of State for Transport, Hildegarde Naughton TD, Maria O'Gorman Skelly, The Strand Hotel Limerick, and Mary Considine.
