Declan O’Rourke will be back at his New York home away from home next week.

The new Irish Arts Center hosts the Dublin singer-songwriter for concerts from July 15-17 and also the American launch of his literary debut, “The Pawnbroker’s Reward,” on the 14th.

Prominent Irish music critic Tony Clayton-Lea has said of the new album, “I think the ‘Arrivals’ album is Declan O’Rourke’s best work to date – more focused, more emotive, more personal. And yet like all his work, there’s a humanitarian universality to it which makes it even more potent.”

O’Rourke has made a number of memorable appearances at the Irish Arts Center beginning with a residency and shows with a string quartet in April 2013. This will be his first time in the new Irish Arts Center.
