Irish Eyes Keeping Watch

Pic of Day: Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Justin Donovan from Brooklyn, New York, stands lookout watch aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS O’Kane (DDG 77). The O’Kane is deployed in the South China Sea supporting Commander, Task Force (CTF) 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force. The O'Kane is named after Rear Admiral Richard "Dick" O'Kane, a World War II submarine commander and a winner of both the Medal of honor and the Navy Cross.
