Presidential Honor For Adrian Flannelly

Pic of Day: Broadcaster Adrian Flannelly is one of four U.S.-based recipients of the Presidential Distinguished Service Awards for the Irish Abroad for 2021, details of which have been announced by the Irish government's Department of Foreign Affairs. The New York-based Mayo native is being honored in the "Irish Community Support" category. Also honored in the same category is Chicago-based businessman and immigration activist Billy Lawless. Galway native Lawless is a former member of the Irish Senate. Being honored in the "Arts, Culture and Sport" category is U.S.-based Susan Feldman and Doreen Nanibaa McPaul is being honored in the "Charitable Works" category. The award presentations will be on December 2 at Aras An Uachtarain in Dublin.
