Masks Or No Masks?

All in this photo, including Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, are keeping an appropriate social distance, but the viewer can't avoid noticing that the visitors are not wearing masks but that the staff members at the Community Assessment Hub in Dublin City University are wearing them. As it currently stands, wearing face masks in Ireland is not mandatory though many are choosing to wear them. This looks set to change. Mr. Varadkar has indicated that the public may be advised to wear face coverings in places where social distancing guidelines must be followed, and that this advice might be issued by the end of this week.
