Kerry reach final

Kerry’s Stephen O’Brien celebrates scoring the only goal of Sunday’s 1-18 to 0-18 All Ireland semifinal triumph over Tyrone at Croke Park. Now, Kerry are all that stands between hot favorites Dublin and an unprecedented 5th consecutive title in the final on Sept. 1. There’ll be added pressure on the underdogs as Kerry were deprived of a similar achievement by a last-minute goal by Offaly in the 1982 final. For coverage of the weekend's GAA action, the opening weekend of the Premiership in England, the Northern Trust at Liberty National in Jersey City and more, as well as previews of the All Ireland hurling final next Sunday, go to the digital/print edition of the Irish Echo on Wednesday.
