Proclaiming the Republic

Former President Mary McAleese and her husband Martin met with Capt. Paul Conlin after he’d read the 1916 Proclamation of the Irish Republic on Easter Sunday when members of the Irish Defense Forces, government officials and invited guests gathered for the annual ceremony outside the GPO, O’Connell Street, Dublin.
