Backing the GPA

Former Dublin footballer and Gaelic Players Association founder Dessie Farrell, center, met with members of the New York Friends of the GPA on last Thursday evening at the Wheeltapper Pub in Midtown Manhattan. He was pictured with, from left, Mary Beth Glaccum, Alan O'Mara, Padraig Byrne and Paul Hurley. The GPA is an officially-recognized body that represents the interests and welfare of, and provides an independent voice for, inter-county footballers and hurlers in Ireland.
