An evening filled with hope

Pictured are Gerry O’Shea and Michael Pryce attending the Helping Other People (HOPe) annual dinner at Rosie O’Grady’s Manhattan Club. Both have served a term each as president of HOPe and praised current president Attracta Lyndon for a wonderful event. Gerry, a founding member of HOPe, and who is familiar to Echo readers as a columnist, has served in many leadership roles and presently oversees HOPe’s public relations. The evening welcomed special guest Fr. Leo O'Shea, who spoke of his work overseas with Maryknoll Missionaries in Jamaica, China and Venezuela. Thanks to all who donated generously, funds raised will support HOPe’s projects in Peru, Ethiopia, Costa Rica and Honduras. Special thanks must go to Mike Carty and Rosie O'Grady's for generously sponsoring the event. More on HOPe at https://hope-charity.org/
