Francis "Frank" Duffy, who, at the age of 94, has been named Parade Commander of the 2018 Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade in Pearl River. Duffy, wounded on Iwo Jima, was honored by the AOH last Friday, the same day that county legislators presented a proclamation designating Dec. 1 as Francis T. Duffy Day in Rockland. The parade is set for March 18, 2018. Word is that Mr. Duffy plans to try walking most of it.
