Project Children, the organization that brings Catholic and Protestant kids from Northern Ireland spend time with American families is gearing up for another of its annual "Kruise for Kids" fundraisers and this one is special as it marks the 20th anniversary of the event.
This year's "Kruise" takes place Wednesday, June 8 on the "The Spirit of New York," and will include a full open bar and buffet dinner.
The Spirit will be casting off from Chelsea Piers, Pier 61 W. 23rd St. & 12th Ave. with a boarding time of 6 p.m. and a sailing time of 6.45 p.m. A return to dock is scheduled for 10 p.m.
Musical entertainment on board will be provided by Celtic Cross, The Cunningham Brothers, Shay Mac Band and Tom Casey. Casual business attire is recommended. For details call (212)717-9955.
