The Galway man who mounted a billboard campaign threatening to emigrate unless he got a job has been hired by top Irish bookmaker Paddy Power.
The publicity geared company clearly figured Feilim Mac An Iomaire was a good bet after the campaign which show the 26-year-old with a suitcase against the backdrop of famous world landmarks including the Statue of Liberty.
Mac An Iomaire might well get to see the statue but now more likely on a vacation. GHe will be working for Paddy Power in the company's communications department.
The Paddy Power position was one of five offers he received after 20 interviews. Mac An Iomaire, a marketing graduate, had been jobless since returning last August from a year in Australia.
