Brooklyn Irish rally for David Bourke

Brooklyn's Irish American community is coming together this weekend in "A DAY FOR DAVID," a fundraising drive to benefit the Bourke family of Bay Ridge.

Long time Bay Ridge resident, David Bourke, a Dublin native, is the father of four children ages 9-13 and is married to Geraldine Collins.

David has been battling brain cancer and has undergone several brain surgeries, most recently on March 24. In order to defray medical costs and to help the family a fundraiser is being held this Saturday, May 14 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at St. Patrick's Auditorium, 9511 Fourth Avenue.
