Cork do business in 2nd half

By Frank Brady

CORK 3-13

SLIGO 0-9

At the end of a low-scoring first half, Cork led by 5 points to 2 at Gaelic Park with Conor Doherty, Declan Reilly, Benny Reilly, and Ger McCullough being the Rebels scorers while Brian Kelly and Tony Gannon were on target for the Yeats County. However Cork's superior weaponry was more than enough to stall Sligo's spirited attempts in the second half as Declan Reilly, Ronan Caffrey and Benny Reilly goaled to put the game well beyond Sligo's reach.
