Name a maritime hero you admire and why? Commodore John Barry. He was born not far from where my family home is in County Wexford. His humble beginnings and eviction from his family home did not deter him from rising up and becoming the father of the US Navy.

Biography
Liam is President of Hudson Tank Terminal in Port Newark, a bulk liquid terminal for imports of food and food grade products. They are the main point of import for bulk liquid food product in the Northeast quadrant of the US.
He holds several prominent industry positions in the fats and oils industry including Board of directors of the American Fats and Oils Association (AFOA), Board member of the National Institute of Oilseed Products (NIOP). NIOP Technical Committee Chair, NIOP Rules Committee, NIOP Transportation Committee. AFOA Transportation Committee Chair.
Liam is a former member of the Harbor Operations Committee for the Port of New York as well as a former Advisor to the USFDA and US Coast Guard on prior cargoes for bulk food imports into the US.
His company supports local non-profit initiatives, including: the Scholarship Fund for Inner City Children in Newark, the Coast Guard Foundation, and several other Law Enforcement and First responder agencies. He is on the board of directors of the Labouré Society which works to mitigate student debt for young men and women entering religious life.
Liam’s grandparents came from Wexford and Westmeath in Ireland and he holds Irish citizenship. His family has a home in Ballyhack in Wexford, and he is an annual supporter of the Gaelic Athletic Association.
