Trevor Holloway

Current Company and Position: Senior Estimating Manager AECOM Tishman.

Family: Married to Kerrie; Kids (in age order) - Keelan, Cormac and Eabha

First Job: First job was laboring on a construction site with my father. First paying job was in a butchers.

What it taught me: Laboring with my father taught me the rewards of hard labor on a construction site as you could physically see the progress and development of each project. Working in my local butcher taught me how to work in a fast pace, client serving environment.

Best advice you could give someone starting out: Be a sponge by observing and learning from those around you. Tap into the knowledge of those more experienced than you by asking them questions and advise. Always try to learn from your failings and success and use that to your advantage going forward.

Who is your hero and why? My parents. My parents came from humble beginnings in Ireland, emigrated to the US, worked hard and were able to provide so much to my siblings and I. We never wanted for anything. Anything I have accomplished has been a direct result of their help, advice and guidance. I aspire to emulate them.
