Sinead Kirnan

Place of birth: Newburgh, NY.

What is your profession? C-17 Pilot in the New York Air National Guard, Air Force.

How do you celebrate your Irishness? Visits to family in Kildare as much as possible, involved with New York Rose of Tralee organization, volunteer with AOH Division 2 Cornwall, NY, teach people how to split the G and have an occasional Guinness.

Name a hero you admire and why? My sister, Ciara. She has extreme anxiety, and everyday tasks or things that we would normally enjoy (ie: going out to dinner, going somewhere new and exciting) is something that she struggles and fights to be able to do. Yet, she gets up every day and lives life and pushes through while dealing with everything internally.

Something people would be surprised to know about me... I have gone skydiving 5 times.
