Added the release: "This year’s Main Stage lineup promises to draw crowds from across the Tri-State area, featuring the mighty Shilelagh Law, Black 47 founder Chris Byrne with Seanchai, Peekskill’s own Phineas & the Lonely Leaves, and welcoming for the first time, The Amadans NYC.

"The Jack McAndrew Traditional Music Tent will host a stellar lineup of acclaimed Irish musicians including Mary Courtney, Donie Carroll, Stephen Gara, and many more performing all day long. Festivalgoers can also enjoy the popular Spoken Word Tent, curated by John Kearns, featuring an exciting program of speakers and performers, including NY Times bestselling author Jeanine Cummins and Ph.D. candidate Katie Palumbo.

Beyond music and storytelling, the Fest offers an abundance of cultural experiences: Authentic Irish food and drink; Artisan crafts and garment vendors; Gaelic football and Hurling demonstrations; Children’s entertainment, including 18th-century games and activities; Irish step dancers and cultural exhibits.

Continued the release: "Since its founding in 2009, the Hudson Valley Irish Fest and Center has been dedicated to preserving and promoting Irish arts, literature, history, and heritage in the Lower Hudson Valley. The festival is organized by Hudson Valley Irish Fest, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and made possible through the support of local sponsors and a generous grant from Westchester County as well as the Consulate General of Ireland, New York, through the Department of Foreign Affairs Emigrant Support Program.

Festival organizers say that coolers, glass bottles, and pets (other than documented service dogs) are not permitted on the Fest grounds. Visitors are encouraged to take MTA Metro-North’s Hudson Line to Peekskill Station, located immediately adjacent to the Fest. Ample free parking is also available.
