New York GAA is set to receive global coverage after signing a live-streaming deal with New Logical Sports, a major outlet for live-streaming amateur and semi-professional sports in the Northeastern United States. Under the deal, up to 67 matches at Gaelic Park will be available to fans globally on TV and mobile devices, courtesy of a new streaming platform known as New Logical Sports+, at https://plus.newlogicalsports.com.
An app is currently in development to launch on Fire TV, iPhones, and iPads.
“Subscribers will have the ability to follow their expat clubs in New York throughout the senior football and hurling seasons, as well as tune in every county final at every level of New York GAA, [including] ladies Gaelic football, and camogie,” said Patrick Murphy, technology consultant for New Logical.
“[We] worked with the New York GAA to make sure there is a strong wired broadband network at Gaelic Park to support all matches being broadcasted in 1080p Full HD with a possibility of 4K broadcasts in the future. There will be packages available for users who prefer to follow one club or pay by the match. Most, if not all matches, are expected to have live commentary, and pregame and postgame shows. Interviews will be available during the big games, featuring talent with experience both in Ireland and the United States,” Murphy added.
New Logical has been streaming matches out of Gaelic Park since 2023, and the viewership and interest exceeded expectations beyond its imagination. In 2024, viewership of 24 Gaelic games on New Logical Sports reached over 20,000 unique viewers, over 252,000 non-unique views, and over half a million watched highlights on social media.

“When reviewing feedback from across the Atlantic, fans in Ireland and across the world were happy with the sharp video quality, and the fact that they were able to follow players they were familiar with back home and to keep track of their GAA careers in America. Zealous fans of football and hurling will have up to six more hours of matches to watch from their TVs in Ireland past 6 p.m. local time every week,” said Murphy.
In addition, fans overseas will be able to watch on New Logical Sports+ the highly anticipated All-Ireland Junior Football Championship quarterfinal between New York and the United States GAA at 10 p.m. IST [5 p.m. EST] at Gaelic Park on June 14. New York are the two-time defending champions.
Gaelic Park has been the home of New York GAA for 99 years, dating back to when the Bronx was still a part of the legal “New York County” in New York State, making it the oldest venue currently operating for any sports team in the New York metropolitan area. It’s outlived even the original Yankee Stadium, and the world-famous Madison Square Garden. In its rich century long history, the venue located in Riverdale, Bronx, has witnessed countless matches, with innovations in scoreboard and field practices that inspired ideas brought back to Ireland.
In the 2020s, New York GAA enjoyed some of its most successful years, winning its first ever Connacht Senior Championship match [2023], the Junior Football Championship [2023, 2024], the Connacht Senior Hurling League [2024], and earning a berth in the 2025 Lory Meagher Cup for Hurling.
Most recently, New York turned heads with their better-than-expected first half performance against All-Ireland Senior Football runners-up Galway in this year's Connacht quarterfinal match in April.
“Success on the pitch has led to a growth in interest in New York GAA, both from fans of GAA and newcomers alike,” Murphy noted. “The recent opening of the new Redmond Park for the New York GAA Minor Board, and recent dominance in youth competitions, has confirmed the growing consensus that the improvements in the program will continue to grow. New Logical Sports+ hopes to allow people across the world to follow this upward trend of development.”
