The 2025 Annual Conference of the American Irish Teachers Association will take place on this Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Irish Historical Society, 991 Fifth Ave., in Manhattan. The conference’s theme is “Other Voices: Intersections, Irish and African.” Dr. Christine Kinealy of Quinnipiac University will be the keynote speaker on the topic of “Frederick Douglass in Ireland.” Also giving talks are Meredith Linn of Bard Graduate Center and Colin Harte of Bard College, Bronx. Music will be by Patty
