Meet the Paddy Pals

July 1, 2020

By Irish Echo

Meet the Paddy Pals, the last of the wild Irish Teddy Bears who live deep in the Mountains of Mourne. They want to be your pal, your best friend and your companion, and no matter where they go, they bring the luck of the Irish with them. Some of the Pals love to dance, sing and play music while others tend their farm or fish the rivers for a tasty snack or just lie in the shade reciting poetry and telling each other stories.

Thousands of years ago all of Ireland was covered in deep forest where the bears roamed freely. But as the human population grew, they chopped down the forests tree by tree until eventually all the forests were nearly gone. The remainder of the wild Teddy Bears headed for the last remote place in Ireland, the Mountains of Mourne deep in County Down where they made their home.

The bears all look after each other and their community and they don’t need anyone other than themselves.

Páraic the Farmer produces all the food, and the tasty honey that all the bears love while Finn the Fisherman is out at sea catching fish. Róisín the Colleen strolls through the village singing her stories while Lizzie the Dancer jigs and reels all day long. Logan the Piper plays his Irish bagpipes,
keeping the bears entertained while Molly the Weaver weaves the baskets and furniture for all the bears. And of course, James the Poet who recites his tales of Celtic woe as he looks out over the horizon to where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea.

But there is one thing that each of them would really love and that is for you have them sent all the way from Ireland to your home so that they can become part of your family where they will look over you and yours forever and a day. The community of Paddy Pals make for treasured friends and companions and each of them comes with their own backstory and Irish talent, from farming to poetry to Irish dancing. They love hugs and smiles, fun and laughter. Adored by both children and adults with their traditional Irish attire and welcoming smile.

Paddy Pals Teddy Bear HQ is based in County Down Ireland and from there the Pals are shipped worldwide. They travel on their journey with free worldwide shipping along with a 30-day money back guarantee in the unlikely event that someone won’t be satisfied with their purchase.
