Ten of 2019 40 Under 40 honorees named




The 12th annual 40 Under 40 Awards are set for February 22

 

This week we name the first ten honorees to make the cut for our annual Irish 40 Under 40 celebration.

Scheduled for Rosie O’Grady’s Manhattan Rooms on Friday, February 22, the twelfth annual Irish 40 Under 40 will bring together the very best of Irish America’s young ambassadors.

Selected from a strong pool of nominees representing every facet of Irish America, our first batch of honorees all share a deep pride in their Irish roots.

They are: Patrick Bourke: a first-generation Irish American, he heads a dedicated nursing team and is a partner in the In Good Company hospitality network in New York.

Aisling Kerr, whose parents hail from County Tyrone, is a powerhouse of the GAA in Boston and is a Project Manager with the Boston Planning and Development Agency.

Seán Dennihy-Bailey is a manager with the New York City Department of Small Business Services.

Colin Flaherty is a Project Engineer with global building company Structure Tone Construction in New York.

Kerri Gallagher is Head Coach at Manhattan College, New York. A former professional runner, she scored a third-place finish at the 2015 U.S. Championship earning her a place on Team USA for the IAAF World Championships in Beijing.

Annmarie Giblin, Senior Counsel - Cyber Liability Attorney, Global Legal with Chubb, the world’s largest publicly-traded property and casualty insurance company.

Keith Gormley, a native of Boston now living in New Jersey, is VP of Social Media Marketing with Prudential Insurance in Newark, NJ.

Margaret Hart is a civil rights lawyer in Washington D.C.

Tammy Hawkins, a native of Missouri now working as a VP with Mastercard Ireland in Dublin.

Conor Twomey, a New York-based VP with Irish financial technology giant, First Derivatives.

Certain to be a sellout event, the Irish 40 Under 40 Awards will spotlight the new generation of Irish leaders building America. All 40 honorees will feature in a special Irish Echo supplement to be published in the issue out on February 20. Sponsors of the 40 Under 40 Awards for 2019 include the Ancient Order of Hibernians and Kalikow.
