It’s been a busy week in New York for President Michael D. Higgins who is pictured here arriving at the United Nations. The president’s final day in New York will be tomorrow, Saturday. He will meet with representatives of Irish immigration centers at the church of St. Barnabas in the Bronx and then cross the Hudson River to visit the GAA facility in Rockland County. Mr. Higgins and his wife Sabina will fly back to Ireland Saturday evening.
