The story of the 70 million-strong Irish diaspora is told in a new interactive visitor center in Dublin.
Former president Mary Robinson officially opened the EPIC Ireland center in the CHQ Building in Dublin’s docklands on Saturday.
The center tells the story of the “global Irish family” by means of twenty interactive galleries.
The center was funded by former Coca-Cola chief executive, Neville Isdell, who emigrated from County Down with his parents to Northern Rhodesia (present day Zambia) in the mid-1950s.
