Mayor to march, and march, and march

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio announced at a press conference held at the Irish Consulate in Manhattan that he will end his boycott and march in this year’s New York St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The mayor will march first with members of the city’s uniformed services, and later in the parade with the LGBT group Lavender and Green Alliance, the inclusion of which in the parade led to the mayor’s return to Fifth Avenue on the big Irish day. Mr. de Blasio said he would also be marching in two other parades, the St. Pat’s For All Parade in Sunnyside Queens, and the Rockaways St. Patrick’s Parade.
