Chancellor meets chancellor at Flax Trust NY gathering

The Flax Trust honored James Nesbitt, actor and Chancellor of Ulster University, and John Kelly, Partner Hanover Stone Partners LLC, at its recent annual banquet held at the 21 Club in Manhattan. It was the Trust’s 25th annual New York event.  Tom Moran, Chairman and CEO of Mutual of America and Chancellor of Queen’s University Belfast, introduced the honorees. Pictured (l-r):  Tom Moran, honoree John Kelly, Flax Trust Director Sister Mary Turley, honoree James Nesbitt, and Jim Quinn.  The Flax Trust was formed in Belfast in 1977. Its mission is reconciliation through economic and social development, education and training with inter- community activities including culture, the arts, sports, health and social programs.
