St. Patrick's Day Memories: Jane Treacy

My favorite St. Patrick's Day memory was presenting a Connemara rosary bracelet on QVC that was inspired by one owned by my Irish grandmother.

Have you ever marched in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade? I've never marched in the New York parade, but maybe someday! Five essential Irish albums that should be part of everyone's music library: Live in Ireland Australia and New Zealand by Shane Howard; Music from Ballad of the Irish Horse by The Chieftains; A Hundred Thousand Welcomes by Martha Clancy; How Are We Getting Home? by Gaelic Storm; Shepherd Moons by Enya. How much green do you wear on March 17th? I wear as much green as possible, especially my green pumps, which I save for the day. Do you eat corned beef & cabbage on St. Patrick's Day? How about soda bread? St. Patrick's Day breakfast has to be Irish soda bread and Irish breakfast tea, and instead of corned beef and cabbage, I love beef braised in Guinness. Favorite Irish movie: "Waking Ned Devine." Favorite Irish Book: "O Come Ye Back to Ireland." Favorite Irish Song: "The Pretty Little Girl from Omagh." Complete this sentence: The most Irish thing about me is . . . my husband Sean and my daughters Cara and Deirdre.
