Photo of the Day: California Senator Dianne Feinstein has died at the age of 90 and Fr. Sean McManus of the Irish National Caucus was today remembering a standout moment from Feinstein's political career. It was 1983 and as Mayor of San Francisco Feinstein greeted the visiting Queen Elizabeth. "What I recall as being unusual in that meeting," said Fr. McManus, "was that Mayor Feinstein stepped outside of normal protocol and presented the queen with a report by Amnesty International focusing on the mistreatment of prisoners in Northern Ireland."
