The plaque has been permanently mounted to the interior wall in the back of St Peter’s Church across the street from the World Trade Center.

John Manning, AOH New York State President said that the placing of the plaque in St. Peter's would mean that for generations to come people would be able "to read the names of the eighteen deceased brother and sister Hibernians that made the supreme sacrifice on September 11, 2001."
