A planned Irish Unity conference will still be face to face, but on screens

A major conference devoted to Irish Unity and planned for June in New York has been postponed.
However, it will instead go ahead online.
Friends of Sinn Féin had planned the conference in New York and will now instead be hosting an online discussion on Irish Unity featuring former Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams and former congressman and co-chair of the Irish American Presidential Forum, Joseph Crowley.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has affected how we all now work. The health and safety of all is the priority in everything we do and we must continue to work for a better future, said Friends of Sinn Féin in a statement.
The event will be broadcast on all Friends of Sinn Féin social media channels at 7 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, June 4
